Flag Event
This is a non-interactive non-timed event. A path of white masking tape loops past flags for each of the competing schools and tabs of aluminium tape mark positions opposite each flag. A post is located at the centre of the circle. The robot’s objective is to follow the line of tape, pause opposite the flag for the school it represents, then turn off the line to strike the flag or alternatively strike the central post. The positions of the flags around the circle will be decided by draw and published on the website (Flags will not be assigned to positions 1 & 14).

There will be two Flag event sites and contestants will be divided between the two sites.
