40cm maximum

Length

40cm maximum

Height

40cm maximum

Propulsion

The robot must be electrically powered and fully self-contained

During the competition the robot must operate autonomously and not be remotely controlled

Maximum Speed

No speed limit has been set for the vehicles constructed using Lego robotic kits, but this may be revised if higher powered components or materials are used.

Identifying Flag

Each robot must fly the identifying team flag

Safety

The intention is that teams base their robots on Lego Mindstorms NXT series robotic kits, but additional parts, components and materials may be incorporated. This; however, is subject to an overarching need to maintain safety. The Robotics Challenge organisers maintain the right to exclude any robot from the competition if, in their opinion, the robot is judged to be unsafe or is no longer distinguishable as a Lego mindstorm NXT series robotic kit.
